I am a Canadian true and blue, or perhaps should I say- red? (Our beloved flag is red and white...I think maybe almost everything about Canada is red and white...the Indian summers, our red maple leaves, our spectacular sunsets ...)
The point I am trying to make is that I love my country and am fiercely proud of what it is, strives to be and represents!
In my heart of hearts I will always be Canadian, wherever I am and whoever I am with. For now though, and for more than the unbelieveable number of 22 years, I have been here, on the shores of the Mediterranean in this beautiful city of Barcelona.
This blog is a collection of my thoughts and wonderings about what it means to me to be a Canadian living abroad and more specifically, living here in Barcelona.
